Rental RV’s kitchen faucet broke during my rental RV Trip, is this damage or ‘wear & tear’?

Wear & Tear, if any RV component us used as prescribed and get damaged in this process then the RV owner is responsible for such repairs. However honoring this business practice depends on how ethical your RV owner is. There are many situations where the RV owner will try to blame the renter and have them pay for such damage.

If you rented from RVShare or Outdoorsy then you have an objective mediator who may try to get both parties agree on an amicable solution. On the other hand if you rented from traditional RV rental business then their word is likely to be final, you can huff & puff and threaten leaving poor reviews but such rental businesses are pros and have handled many such situations and will likely not give in easily.
