RVs get hot and cold easily, if you are travelling through desert on a hot summer day then you need to ensure that the RV air conditioners are in great condition.
Typical RV has a small air conditioner in the driver’s cabin that is similar to your car’s AC. This AC can run for the entire duration of your trip can cool the driver area as well as the rear RV area.
RV passenger seating area has another air conditioner, however this air conditioner need RV Generator to run i.e. you will need to switch on the RV generator to run this AC. Since this generator typically runs off the same gas as the RV engine therefore your gas consumption will increase significantly.
This is not a show stopper but something that you should be aware of while planning your trip through hot weather area.
